Former Doctor Faces Sexual Assault Charges Involving Thirty-Eight Individuals in His Care
Legal authorities have announced that a former doctor stands accused of performing assaults against thirty-eight victims who were patients.

The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with numerous sexual offences – including acts against children younger than 13 – between 2017 to 2021.
A senior prosecutor said, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to support a detailed and complex investigation, carefully reviewing the evidence to determine that there is a strong case to bring the case to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
Scope of the Police Inquiry
These allegations come after what investigators called a “complex investigation” into alleged sexual offences at two hospitals: the Royal Stoke university hospital and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant is scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.

Prosecutors outline the 45 charges he is charged with:
- 15 counts of assault.
- Seventeen counts of assault by penetration.
- 9 counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- 3 counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
- 1 count of attempted penetrative assault.
